This 18K yellow gold and diamond necklace combines the symbolism of the lotus flower with the iridescence of yellow mother of pearl. The lotus motif is composed around the prong-set round brilliant diamond at its centre, encircled by a halo and petals in micropavé diamonds. This elegant arrangement sits atop yellow mother of pearl, which is believed to be a protective stone. On its reverse, the pendant bears a single round brilliant diamond for a modern and simple alternative look. The flower motif is 14.5 mm wide, and suspends from a 45.0 cm chain, with a sizing loop at 42.0 cm. All of the materials within this piece, including the diamonds totaling ~0.28 carats, are ethically sourced and set by hand.
